Hello Thomas,

my updates were referred to VMware Fusion 3, but as I was saying: It is just the felt impression I got while performing tasks like installations. I can't really proof my statements with exact measures, therefor I'm not going to judge whether software is better. I'm just wondering what others might use and for what reasons they decided to use exactly that product. I'm unsure, for what to spend the money, especially since it's not that little.

I'd like to hear some feedback. :-)

Best regards,
Marius.

Do your updates refer to test in Fusion 2 or 3? Better speed and less load is *the* touted killer feature of Fusion 3 according to VMware PR and @vmwarefusion... If you're now saying that it's still slower than Parallels..?

Hi alexgr,

yupp, you're right on that. I just want to point out that VMware is providing such a service with native VMs for their product, while Parallels is not. :-)

Best regards!

About Virtual Appliances. You can easily convert any Virtual Appliances between products. It is just VM file.
