What is Blackbetty?
Blackbetty is poor man’s Blackberry. Actually it’s a software contained of a small bash-script and a “configuration file”, which queries your IMAP account over IMAPS, receives the subjects and sender-addresses of recent mails and sends you a SMS to a phone-number. Blackbetty uses the cyrus-clients Package for IMAP-communications and Gammu for sending SMS.
